Hello!
My name is Samantha Manley, and I am an accomplished visual development artist and illustrator currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design. My work spans both traditional and digital mediums, with proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as experience with 3D software such as Maya, ZBrush, and Houdini.
My artistic achievements include multiple honors, such as being a Best of Ringling Honorable Mention, winning the prestigious Countess Maria Zichy Scholarship for oil painting, and having my work displayed at the Orlando Art Museum. I have had the opportunity to work professionally through my internship with UPG, where I acted as a Visual Development Artist, providing character concepts, prop designs, and splash art. Most recently, I've started interning with NASA, creating high-quality illustrations centered around their missions.
In addition to my digital expertise, I have a strong foundation in traditional media, including oil, acrylic, gouache, and graphite. My creative contributions also extend to theatrical productions, serving as a scenic and prop designer for musicals and plays.
I am currently working towards my Google certifications in UI/UX Design, Project Management, and Digital Marketing, and in my free time, I am aiding in my continual growth in the creative industry.
