
Samantha Manley is an accomplished visual development artist and illustrator currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design. Her work spans both traditional and digital mediums, with proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as experience with 3D software such as Maya, ZBrush, and Houdini.
Samantha’s artistic achievements include multiple honors, such as being a Best of Ringling Honorable Mention, winning the prestigious Countess Maria Zichy Scholarship for oil painting, and having her work displayed at the Orlando Art Museum. Her skills have been applied professionally through her internship with UPG, where she acts as a Visual Development Artist, providing character concepts, prop designs, and splash art. She also has extensive freelance experience producing concept art, game assets, and high-quality illustrations for independent clients.
In addition to her digital expertise, Samantha brings a strong foundation in traditional media, including oil, acrylic, gouache, and graphite. Her creative contributions extend to theatrical productions, serving as a scenic and prop designer for musicals and plays.
Samantha is also working towards her Google certifications in UI/UX Design, Project Management, and Digital Marketing, underscoring her versatility and commitment to continual growth within the creative industry.
